The Standard Jazz Club reopens at new location sep 12 – buy tickets now!
The Standard Jazz Club has finally chosen its new permanent premises in Copenhagen. Starting September 12th we will reside at the new luxury boutique hotel Hotel Danmark in the heart of Copenhagen. The leading boutique hotel chain, Brøchner Hotels, recently did a complete makeover of the hotel which now stands as a very cool and inspiring environment for The Standard Jazz Club. Our 6 nights a week jazz club will operate from here and will be similar in concept to our original location in Havnegade although slightly smaller and more intimate. In turn we will – about once a month on average – move next door to The National Museum of Denmark (Nationalmuseet) and do larger shows there, alternating between their three wonderful halls (Egmonthallen, Biografsalen and Festsalen). Our first projects at both premises are now on sale. See further below, right after our current projects, The Ultimate Jazz Party and the Woody Allen VIP Event. We hope to see you soon for a night of world class jazz.

As many already know, Woody Allen has always had a parallel career as a jazz clarinetist and has for decades performed regularly in New York every week, most recently at the Carlyle Café (a venue that was also used in his film “Hannah and her Sisters”) and before that at Michael’s Pub. His music is comprised of all the older genres of jazz that we know so well from the soundtracks to all of his wonderful and timeless films. This Summer the now 81 year old Woody Allen is on one for his very rare European tours and his Copenhagen fans now have a unique opportunity to experience him in person on the 10th of July..
